Advanced Open Water Diver
SSI New Advanced Open Water Diver Recognition Card – It is an introduction into 5 specialties. Two required – Deep Diver and U/W Navigation. Three elective specialties – Not including Dry Suit. Requires pool session and 5 dives. This is a recognition card and not a specialty. This was known as Advanced Adventure before.
Doing these dives without proper training poses a huge safety risk. In order to plan your dives correctly, you need to know all the potential risks associated with deep diving.
