many changes. I got hooked on scuba by watching Sea
Hunt, Flipper, when they were not in re-runs. To this
day, my greatest moments in diving is introducing a people to
the underwater world. My favorite place to dive in the
outer banks of Belize. It is the second largest barrier
reef in the world, second only to Australia." |

Bill has been diving since 2004 and makes a habit of dragging
his SCUBA gear along with him whenever he travels, whether it
is to the cold waters of the Pacific Northwest or the warm
clear waters of the Andaman Islands in India. He is always
looking for new places to dive to make his 100+ dives per year
quota so make sure to ask him where he has been lately! His
absolute favorite dive spot is South Button Island in the
Andaman Islands, but Half Moon Beach is a (somewhat distant)
contender. |

Sam Frushour |
Since
being certified in 1989 I have expanded my diving interests to
wrecks in the Great Lakes and the caves of Missouri, Mexico,
Florida, Kentucky and Indiana. Diving locally offers
some good sites to learn and sharpen skills. There are
so many places that offer interesting diving that a person can
not run out of dive sites. Working with students is a
great way to make new friends, learn more about teaching and
keep dive skills sharp. |

Jim Nelson |
Assistant
Instructor
"Started skin diving Biscayne Bay, Cat Cay, Nassau, and
the Exumas in the 50's. Started scuba in the Mediterranean
1964. Each dive site has its own beauty. The west coast of
Dominica at 45 feet has hot thermal vents and a stunning
mixture of colorful sea life and corals (some rising 6 feet
above the sloping sea bed), it's a living garden. "

Chris Parks |
Assistant
Instructor
"One summer in Cyprus, in 1999, I found myself with time
to spare and decided to learn scuba diving. Eleven years and
many courses and adventures later, this has become quite the
habit. I enjoy a variety of diving including the kelp forests
of California's Channel Islands, reefs in Florida, mines in
Missouri and South Africa, caves of Florida and the Yucatan,
and even some local Indiana quarries and spring caves.
Time spent underwater is always time well spent!"
